Wellington on a Plate

26 August 2017

Thank you to all those who attended our Wellington on a Plate event this year! The event theme was a ‘Winter Game Shoot’ which involved guests dressing up in their finest tweed and hunting attire for a sporting evening. It began with an afternoon of Claybird shooting at the Bunkers, followed by a whiskey in front of the roaring fire as the sun set over the South Island. Finally, our guests were treated to a delicious three-course game meal cooked by our resident chef Mark Hartstonge, which was perfectly matched to three fine wines.

The Residents Blog - Boomrock Edition

15 July 2017

The Residents lifestyle blogger and photographer, Lucy Revill, has written an incredible post about her experience at one of our Open Lunches in June.

“Boomrock food is like nothing else. The delicate food and ideal location make this experience impossible to match. Of course, a glass of wine or two helps - but to eat on a cliff top cannot be compared!”
