The Bunkers Beretta Shooting Experience
Boomrock has developed "The Bunkers", three five stand sporting clay fields for corporate clients and shooting enthusiasts. Located south of the Lodge and set amongst tranquil native bush overlooking
the Cook Strait towards the South Island.

Guests will experience a variation of clay targets from the fifteen hidden traps. Each field offers a completely different shooting experience from
simulated duck, driven pheasant to driven grouse.

Shooting can be easily adjusted from beginner through to competition level and tuition is available from our shooting instructors. Archery will also be available at "The Bunkers".

Mercedes-Benz Driver Experience
Gear yourself up for an experience of a lifetime and strap in for an unforgettable adrenalin
filled adventure at Boomrock - the home of New Zealand's first privately owned Mercedes-Benz
race track.

Professional driving instructors will demonstrate the capabilities of these superb motor vehicles, whilst offering you a hands on driver experience.

Mercedes-Benz 4WD All Terrain Park
Take a dive in the dam, a cliff drop over Crump's Memorial Hill and figure 8's in the mud all in a
brand new Mercedes-Benz GL 4WD.
$40.00 per person (min 6).

Extreme Golf
The most extreme golf holes in the Southern Hemisphere built by the New Zealand Army. There are three prize winning golf holes that are set into a 250m cliff face.

Prizes for a hole-in-one

1st hole at 80m, $1000 and a bottle of Moet
2nd hole at 180m, $2000 and a bottle of Moet
3rd hole at 300m, $10,000 and a case of Moet

The holes are viewed from the verandah and inside the Lodge with the first green being lit for night golf. Golf clubs provided and balls available

Archery
Set in the peace and tranquility of the hills behind
the Lodge, archery tests your bowmanship. Start
with ten arrows and shoot for bullseye.

Knife Throwing
Release your inner aggression during this challenging knife throwing competition

Boomrock Challenge
Search, find and report tasks incorporating
general knowledge questions and orienteering
along the clifftops. $15.00 per person

Stock Handling
A great challenge, mustering and yarding sheep.
Set in a 5 acre paddock, sheep are mustered by
the clients up to the yard, drafted through the race
into two mobs and a tally of each mob is recorded.
All of this is done under a time trial and is ideal for team building.

Stock handling is unavailable during lambing
season between mid August till the end of October.

Rally Car Racing
A truly thrilling experience! Take a spin from
the Lodge up to the test circuit track and return even faster. An exhilarating way to entertain clients.

Extreme 4x4
Tear up the paddocks during a hurtling trip on this extreme Cowper 4x4. Leave your mark when you take the controls to perform figure 8's & donuts - expect to get muddy (full wet weather supplied)

Horse Riding
Enjoy a two hour guided horse trek from The Country Club to Boomrock Lodge. You will ride through the rugged landscape of Ohariu Valley and along the cliff tops to the Lodge.

Boomrock Coastal Walk
Enjoy this spectacular cliff top walk showcasing New Zealand's natural beauty. Superb views overlooking the South Island and beach 250
metre below. This 30 minute signposted stroll
is perfect for breaking out to refresh mind and body.

A unique murder mystery event delivered exclusively at Boomrock Lodge by the dynamic Clued Up team.

In this event, you will be invited to solve the murder that has taken place here at Boomrock Lodge. The event begins on your journey out when the vehicle/s taking you to the Lodge will be halted on a deserted country road by Detective Rob �Papa� Nooey � a slightly muddling yet committed rural Detective.

Detective Nooey will advise you that there has been an �incident� up at the lodge. He goes onto explain that out here in the country he lacks the support of colleagues and as part of the introduction, Detective Nooey will ask your team if they might assist him in solving the crime�.after all, the suspects are all being held at Boomrock and the more minds on the job the better!

Boomrock provides driza-bones rainproof parkas, hats
and gumboots for guests.

Estimated times for the activities based on 20 guests

Golf – 30 minutes
Claybird shooting – 45 minutes
Archery – 50 minutes
Stock handling – 25 minutes per group
Boomrock challenge – 40 minutes per group

What team building events do you have and how do they work?
Groups can be divided into teams and can rotate around a combination of activities to suit your budget and requirements. Each group has a certain time to do the activities then moves on to the next event. We will tailor the day to suit your requirements and will assist with the timetable to ensure your desired activities can be incorporated into the day.

Can events be scored?
Yes, we have score sheets for activities and can offer a prizegiving session at the end of the day.

Can we give prizes at the end?
Yes, you are welcome to organise your own prizes or we also have a selection of our merchandise available.

Can we do the activities on the day
if we decide to?
Most activities have to be booked in
advance, however, we can arrange some of our activities at the last minute if required.
